Terms and Conditions for Delegates Attending the Innovation in Clinicals & Pharma Conference at the Smurfit Westrock Facility, Dublin, Ireland
- Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and attending the conference (the “Event”) at the Smurfit Westrock facility in Dublin, Ireland, you (the “Delegate”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. - Event Registration & Attendance
Registration for the Event is mandatory. Admission is subject to capacity and approval by Smurfit Westrock (“the Host”) and PMGroup Worldwide Ltd (“the Event Organiser”). The Host and Event Organiser reserve the right to refuse entry or revoke attendance at their sole discretion. - Fees
There is no charge for attendance at the Event. - Accommodation & Hospitality
Accommodation for the core nights of the Event will be provided for Delegates, as specified in the invitation. A gala dinner and local transport between the official Event venues and the provided accommodation will be available upon prior request during the registration process. The Host and Event Organiser are not liable for any additional personal expenses incurred. - Media & Publicity Release
By registering for and attending this Event, you irrevocably grant Smurfit Westrock, its affiliates, and its partners the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your likeness, image, voice, and appearance as captured in any form of photography, videography, audio recording, or other media (“Recordings”) taken during the Event, in whole or in part, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, for promotional, advertising, educational, and commercial purposes, without any further consent or payment. - Event Changes, Postponement, or Cancellation
The Host and Event Organiser reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to alter, postpone, or cancel the Event, or any part thereof, due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control (including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, health emergencies, or venue unavailability). In the event of cancellation, the liability of the Host and Event Organiser shall be limited to the waiver of attendance fees. They shall not be liable for any direct or indirect costs, losses, or expenses incurred by Delegates, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation not directly provided, or other incidental expenses. - Conduct
Delegates are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. The Host and Event Organiser reserve the right to remove any Delegate whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms or any applicable laws. - Liability
Attendance at the Event is at the Delegate’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Host and Event Organiser exclude liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property, or any other direct, indirect, or consequential loss, however arising, during the Event, except in cases of proven negligence. - Data Protection
Personal information provided during registration will be held and processed by both Smurfit Westrock(as Data Controller) and PMGroup Worldwide Ltd(acting as Data Processor on behalf of Smurfit Westrock for the purposes of Event administration) in accordance with their respective Privacy Policies and applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. This data will be used for Event administration, health and safety, and, subject to your consent, future communications from Smurfit Westrock. For details on how each organisation processes your data, including your rights, please refer to their individual privacy notices. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
